"So this week was definitely the most happiest best week of my life"

"Hey this week has been very good! We showed up at Church and President Stauffer was sitting there and that was cool! We were able to talk with him and he talked to our investigators and it was cool. So in this area there is a family that we went to vistit. The dad is less active and has been for the last 15 years or so and they have 4 kids. Three of them are members that go to Church every week they (2 twins 12 years old and a girl thats 17 years old.) And then they have their oldest son Daniel. Daniel is 21 years old and is not a member and doest really know anything about the church. He is living with his girlfriend whois 17 years old and they have a 1 year old boy. So the parents are both members they have kids and arent married... and their kid Daniel isnt a member and his girlfriend isnt either. We went to their house 2 weeks ago and started to talk to them about marriage and how they should do it. We gave one of the most spiritual lessons ive ever given in my mission and they accepted it all and started going to Church. The dad went to church yesterday for the first time in YEARS!! My companion went to their house after church with a member and taught them more about marriage and they are going to get married the 21st of JULY!!! THE PARENTS AND THE KIDS!!! They were all crying in the lesson. The mom told us shes been fasting and the kids too for these last few weeks and they have finally commited to do it. The dad told us that we touched his heart. He told us how hes talked to so many missionaries but we were the first onces to actually get him to understand and feel the need to do it. I am so happy and the family is so happy and we are going to keep working with them. Please pray for the Chanduvi family. (Chan do vee) Thank you so much. Love you all!"

"So this week was so awesome! Satan is working hard on the Chanduvi family but we are working harder! They are having a little bit of financial problems... They were thinking about postponing their wedding until October.... But we were able to help them out a lot. Its really awesome to be helping them. THey told us the other night that the timing is incredible of us missionaries. Its like we show up in the most perfect time possible for them. They dont have much money and they have to take a trip about 10 hours away and didnt have any money for it. They started thinking about what they needed like a suit and a dress and a cake and a place to do it. And if they had to take their trip to find some papers and that wouldve blown all there money. But the Ward is going to help them with everything! Its so awesome. We went to their house and read some scriptures with them. Alma 34. When they started talking about waiting a little longer that scripture came to my mind and it really helped them out and are going to do it the 21st! They are so amazing. Keep praying for them please. Love you all!

"So this week has been so so so fast! Its wild... But full of work and full of good stories and some sad ones but its alright. SO the Chanduvi familly whos supposed to get married might have to wait a little longer... Theres some dumb rules they have to follow from the government... But if they could do it today they would do it. They are so so so excited now and its so awesome! They had to take a trip about 12 hours away to find some papers and they found it all! And they are already talking about receiving the Priesthood and getting sealed in the Temple! So we are working really really hard with them. ALSO this week we found contacted some dude and he told us he was a member and was way excited to see us! We went to his house and turns out hes seperated from his wife but he has two kids! Hes the only member! We invited them to go to Church and they went and they felt the Spirit sooo strong. We went to their house after and they told us that they want to get baptized! They didnt have one single doubt. The dad was so so happy too. We talked to the parents and they are both really awesome. Even though they are seperated they want the absolute best for their kids. Things are awesome. 

Funny story

So today we played soccer... of course. The Latinos get so mad because us gringos are terrible at soccer but we always beat them hahaha. But after that we were in the house of the members and we were all hungry and wondering what we should buy then the member told us that she had a duck that she hasnt killed yet! So one of the Elders took the duck by the neck and just started twisting hahaha. Its was really yummy!

"Soooooo the Chanduvi family couldnt get married... but they have a new date and its set for sure! 4th of Aug! They are so happy and we are too and everything is going very will with them! We learned something really nw about the family... Apparently the dad has had a rough past... He wasnt making good decisions at all and there wasnt a happiness in the Family. It was a shock to hear about that because when we showed up he was so awesome! He has changed so so much! Thanks to the prayers of the family and lots of fasting we were guided to them and have been able to help them so much. We shared with them 2 Nephi 31 and they all read it. We came back the next day and the dad told us that the 14th verse hit him hard .14 But, behold, my beloved brethren, thus came the voice of the Son unto me, saying: After ye have repented of your sins, and witnessed unto the Father that ye are willing to keep my commandments, by the baptism of water, and have received the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost, and can speak with a new tongue, yea, even with the tongue of angels, and after this should deny me, it would have been better for you that ye had not known me.  And he told us hes recieved his testimony and he cant deny it and that he is never going to go back to his old paths. He was also really really sick on Thursday. He walked into the house and told us he needed to rest and couldnt hear our message because he felt so sick. But we told him to wait until we end and then we could give him a blessing! So we ended the lesson and gave him a blessing. The next day he sent us a message and was completely amazed. He said hes been sick for 3 days throwing up and everything and was going to go to the doctor on Friday. But he was healed and at 100 percent the next day! He was so so shocked when he woke up and he thanked us the next day and it was awesome. THEN his son Daniel who will be baptized on the 5th decided to fast with his girlfriend for her brother and for a little help financially. THEY DID A FULL FAST! And he told us that it worked! They had to sacrifice a lot of money for this marriage and he had a few debts and he doesnt know how but EVERYTHING worked out just fine. It was so awesome. They are really awesome and things are going well. I only have one pic and its with the Fam! Love these people so so much.

"So this week has been really crazy! Last week were were supposed to have transfers... but we got the call and they told us there arent transfers. FOR ANYONE! Our whole mission. It was really weird but interesting. We thought we were just gonna stick together for another transfer but this morning at 6 we got a call and they told us that there were transfers! My comp got transfered! I have a new comp his name is Elder Takuche! Hes from Peru and hes a cool guy! Im his second companion! Hes still a little new but hes way cool! 

So this week was very long hahaha. Just about everyone we talked to had something bad to say about us hahaha. We went to a part where we have never worked and started to contact About 12 in the afternoon until 10 at night and it was TERRIBLE hahahaha. The people didnt want anything... But I like that. The more we got rejected the closer we are to find the people who are ready to hear a message! This week we have the marriage of Familia Chanduvi. They are getting married Friday and baptized Saturday. They are so happy and this Sunday was so crazy with all the investigators at Church they started to help us out haha. They are going to help so much in the ward. Seriously love that Family. Hope all is well at home. I love you all!

"So this week was definitely the most happiest best week of my life. The Chanduvi Family got married. Then Daniel, Elizabeth and Zaory got baptized. They are so happy and I have never seen such a change in a family in my entire life. Right before the baptism me my new comp and Daniel were changing and Daniel said "Elders. Lets say one last prayer together before I get baptized." So the three of us knelt down in the floors of the bathroom and he offered us a prayer. It was incredible. The next day they were able to have an interview with Bishop and are going to start preparing to enter the Temple. Not only Daniel and his wife but his parents too. This gospel changes lifes. It changes lifes because its true.
