"So this week was awesome! We found a bunch of new investigators and we were really excited for church yesterday because we should have had a lot go! But we went to one house in the morning and they said they couldnt go anymore... then we went to another and the same thing... so we arrived to the Chapel with no one. It was really sad to go to church without any investigators. But God loves us and gave us a miracle!! So we show up to Church and there is a girl that ive never seen before in the ward! So me and my companion talk to her for a second and she starts telling us about how shes been going to church for about a year with her cousins but then she moved back here so now she just went by herself! She told us she just started talking with the Elders over in Chicalayo and she said "I already have lesson one and two!" So we taught her and asked her about all her feelings about baptism and everything and she really wants to get baptized but she told us "I havent gotten all of the lessons so I cant get batized yet." So we taught her a lesson and told that she can definitely get baptized! So now she has a baptism date for the 4th of March!! She was happy to accept her date for baptism and it was an awesome experience! So that was really cool! This work is true I know it! Hpe youre all doing awesome and I cant wait to hear from you all! Quick funny/scary story so yesterday we went and slept at our zone leaders house and we were on the bus and theres a really sketchy part that we pass through on the buss so I was talking to someone on the phone and my comp was sitting two seats behind me so I reached back to give Elder Chavez the phone and right when i reached back this dude that was getting off the buss reached for this guys phone that was sitting behind me and we like blocked this dude from stealing this guys phone and getting off the buss! Hahaha what people do is they get on busses and just wait for someone with a nice phone to take it out and what they do is right when the bus stop to pick up or drop off people they snag the phone and jet! But we saved this dudes phone! Pretty cool hahaha love you all!"

"So this week was really really fast and ive actually forgot a lot of what happened. But it also marked my 6 month mark. I dont feel too good about that! Its way scary the days are flying and before I know it im going to be sitting on a plane going home! This week was so fast and I have no idea why! Me and Elder Chavez are working hard as ever but weve been starting to teach like robots. We have noticed that we have been starting to teach lessons and not people and me and Elder Chavez had a good talk about it and now we are teaching a lot better together and we can feel the spirit a lot better too. Its very important that we dont become robots in the mission because I was called to serve in this mission. Elder Stevens... not a robot. There is definitely a reason I am here. I will never know that reason if im teaching like a robot and not like Elder Stevens. SO we are doing a lot better at changing up how we do things! But that also made me start to think of how we attend Church or how we take the sacrament and do things like that. If we are just doing it out of habit and not with any meaning we arent going to get anything out of it! So I challenge you all that you can all go to church but with a positive attitude and do it differently! Thats all for this week sorry its short! We should have a baptism this week! Hermana Diana! "SOOOOOOO I feel like I have done a terrible job talking about our investigators... But we got a baptism this week! It was a miracle so that was very awesome! Her name is Diana! She came to church one week and said "I have been going to church for almost a year and I have lesson 1 and 2" So we have been teaching her and talking about baptism and boom she got baptized! Her boyfriend Juan did it! Hes an RM and she waited for him on his mission but then he wrote her off and she just still kept going to church and now they got back together and they have plans to go to the TEMPLE NEXT YEAR! If that happens me and Elder Chavez would be able to go in with them and watch them be sealed for eternity and that would be awesome! So that was way cool! And this week we have another baptism Hermana Olga! She told us this hilarious story about how a "gringo" stopped by her house one day from our church and then he never came back and we asked her if she gave her a book and she said "Yes!" So she went to get it and it turns out it was a bible from the testigos de Jehova hahaha. But we told her that wasnt from us that was funny. But anyways one of her neighbors told her she should go to church with her someday! So she decided to go and she told the people that "I have found the truth!!" So she has been going to a church in another stake for the last 3 weeks and we finally got the reference and she told us she wants to get baptized! SO we are going to baptize her this Saturday! She is always so happy to see us and she lives so far and she feels terrible when we go way far to visit her cause she live pretty dang far but shes so nice and im way excited to baptize her!
