"So this week was very very cool! We had the awesome oppurtunity to baptize Hermana Olga! She got to the church an hour and a half early just so she wouldnt miss her confirmation! Hahaha she also came with names for baptism for the dead! She really is truely amazing and she is going to be an amazing member! This whole week when we were teaching her she had soooo many questions and how to do certain things and what not like tithing and fast offerings haha. She was so excited to pay her tithing! This old 75 year old woman with a room about 18 feet long 5 feet wide and plastic for flooring. It really was kind of a hit in the face for me. Because this woman doesnt have anything. Yet she is willing and happy to pay her tithing and I think that is so amazing. So that was really awesome. Then this week we also had the Multi Zone conference! And I absolutely love those. The spirit is so strong and I love being able to hear the input of other missionaries. We focused on The Atonement and The Restoration. The 2 most important days in anyones life. We were able to learn better ways to teach but we also had the oppurtunity to share our testimonies about these 2 days. It was an experience I cant really explain. The spirit was so strong I was definitely holding back tears a few of the times. I was able to have a really cool experience after the Multi Zone. I was having a little bit of hard times this last week just because we couldnt find anyone new to teach. So I said a very heart felt prayer and repented for my bad efforts of the week and asked if He would help us find good investigators that day. So we went out talked with everyone and found 6! 6 New people to teach!! So cool. I said a good prayer that night thanking Him for helping us out. Prayer is so real. Also this week we had the awesome oppurtunity to have a lesson with Our mission President! AND the Stake President with Familia Merino Espinoza! Hahaha Wow. the spirit was so strong and they told us they are going to get baptized without a doubt just dont really know when.. But I really think that they are going to do it the 25th! Pray for them please! And You should all email me tooo love you all so much!"

"Hello everyone! This week was a lot of walking so that was interesting! We actually had some rain this week and quite a bit. Its been pretty dangerous for a lot of people so everyone should pray for the people here.
This week was very interesting! Lots of walking like I said but its all good just getting my legs a lot bigger hahah. But it was a little hard. Whenever we walk passed people and someone says "Elderes!" Thats the best thing to hear especially when we have never seen them before hahaha. So 5 TIMES this week we were walking and someone yelled "ELDERES!!!" and we turn to look who it is and everytime it was some dude drinking away on his beer bottle hahaha. We also had another dude who was selling ice cream and I told him that I was ok and he said "Moroni is going to be very bothered with you if you dont eat" hahahahahaa so we talked to him for a while and that was very cool. He is Muslim but hes also very interested in religion.
So the BEST part of this week! So theres this house that we contacted one time with Elder Fernandez like 4 months ago and this lady told us that her son is a member but lives in Chili! So ever since then weve been trying to get ahold of them but they are NEVER in there house but i have not stopped trying so finally this week we got ahold of them and we got to teach them. There is an 18 year old girl and her friend who is 21 and that family has gone through piles of missionaries! We showed up and they slammed down 5 Books of Mormon on the table haha. So we talked with them and their parents arent married so they were never baptized. But we talked with them and The girl Hermana Quispe told us that she was waiting to be 18 years old so that she could be baptized because her Parents didnt want her to be baptized when she was younger. So now weve been teaching her and her friend and he is really interested in the Church and they both have put the 18th of Apil as a goal for baptism which is so awesome! But the sad thing is I might get transferred... Ive been here for some time so its very possible. But we will see. But its very happy to see the miracles of the Lord. Sorry I dont have any pics but im ulgy anyways. Love you all hope all is well!"

"So I said goodbye to everyone in Zapallal because now im opening up a new area with my new companion Elder Guerro who is way awesome! We have been getting right into it! Hes a very hard worker and he works very well with the people! So something way cool but also way hard about this area is the hills are HUGE! But its so cool. In the nights we are always walking around way high cause thats where all the new people weve been teaching live and the lights are incredible! Everyone here is so nice too! About every house we go to the people ALWAYS offer us something to drink and something to eat. Its really awesome here. Something sad though is that the people are very very poor. A lot more poor than in my other area. But they are all sooo humble and so very kind. Almost every house we have gone to theyve accepted us right in and it is very awesome to feel the love of the people here. So this week was a lot of walking around finding people to teach and finding members and it was very interesting! My legs are so sore haha but im so excited to get out there and find all the people who are ready to hear the Gospel!
Conference! Im pretty sure everyone is going to be asking people to do this challenge but ya you should all definitely watch all of conference and come with questions. If you all do this and watch conference with an open heart and with sincere intentions on finding an anwser. I promise you all in the sacred name of Jesus Christ you will recieve and anwser. Love you all and I hope all is well!"

"Hello everyone im doing awesome here in Laderas! This place is the best and the hills are still as big as ever. Me and my comp are such good friends and we are working good together.
I hope you all had an awesome week and all had the oppurtunity to watch conference! It was really good! My favorite part was the talk of President Monson when he talked to us about being kind. Pretty sure it was in the priesthood session but it was very good! Everyone needs to be kind if we are truely followers of Christ we will be kind!
So this week I wanted to talk about something very important. Something that I have lacked in my mission and in my life but am slowly getting better and better! FAITH! "... Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of all things; therefore if you have faith ye hope for things which are not seen which are true" So theres a good outline of what is faith but to tell you all the truth anyone can have faith. But real faith there is 2 parts. There is "Faith" and then ther is "Works". In the good old Bible theres a part that I love in James Chapter 2 verses 17-20 and 26. It says "Even so faith if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea a man may say, thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy works and I will shew thee my faith by my works" then verses 19 and 20 are just really cool. "Thou belivest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe and tremble. But wilt thou know oh vain man that faith without works is dead?" I can have all the faith in the world for something but if I dont work for it nothings going to change. I can say im going to come home from my mission jacked with new muscles but if I dont workout in the mornings nothings going to happen. If you want to buy a new car you work and save up to buy it. It doesnt just fall from the sky. If you want an awesome future family you have to prepare now to have one. "Faith without works is dead." We all need to have a lot more faith in life. God is a God of miracles and will always be a God of miracles but that is according to our faith. But more importantly our works. Love you all and hope all is well! Hope to hear from you all!"

"Hello everyone this week was really awesome! So this week we were able to baptize Hermana Andrea! She is so awesome and we are going to baptize her little brother here in the next few weeks too! She had so many questions and so many doubts and we told her that if she went to conference she would recieve an anwser so she went to both sunday sessions by herself and she got her anwser! She felt like they were talking exactly to her so she was so excited to get baptized! Another cool experience is that this week we were walking and we saw this one dude who is 19 and his name is Michael and we talked with him and invited him to my english classes that I teach on Thursdays! So he went! Then the next day he went to our ward activity! Then the next day he went to play soccer at the church! Then the next day to Church! He lives so freaking far too hahaha. He lives like two mountains away so that really sucks. But that doesnt stop him! He told us he feels good in the church and he was asking a lot about missionary work too and it was just so awesome. We were walking with him after church and we were talking with everyone we passed by and he started contacting them too! It was so cool and so funny and he is just a really really good guy. Im really excited to see how things go with him! Things are awesome my companion is awesome and I really love this area. I pulled my hammy today though so that really really sucks hahaha but all is well heres some pics "

"Hello everyone how are you all doing??? This week was a little rough but really good! So this week me and my companion are working really hard ive been sick with a cold and it sucks and ive kind of had a bad attitude by the end of the week... but Sunday came around and I did some repenting on the beautiful easter Sunday and really went out to work. I was happy and I was going to follow any little prompting of the Spirit that I thought was a prompting. And it was awesome! We went out in the morning and went to about every one of our investigators house to go to church and we got blanked! Until I said we should go to this one friend of ours house and see if he would go. We knocked on the door and looked at us as he had just woke up and said "Vamanos?" (Lets go?) and we went! Hahaha it was awesome. One of our other investigators Michael showed up to who lives way far away. AND he was sick. But he still went. It was so cool. Then that night we were walking up the hills of dirt and I say a family a ways off eating dinner, and normally when the Peruvians are eating they wouldnt care if youre the President they dont want to be bothered, and I felt like we should talk to them. So we went and found a family of 6! All in age of baptism and they accepted a baptism date in May! They were awesome and im so excited to keep teaching them! Our good friend Michael is doing well and preparing for baptism the 29th and everything is going good. Hope all is well and that you could all have a great easter. Here in Peru they take it a whole other level haha. They dont sell any type of meat except fish hahaha and they have big get togethers and its just crazy. Love you all. I hope everyone of you knows that Christ lives. I read something cool today that talked about how we dont have any sort of symbol to represent our church. No crosses no nothing. But Gordon Hinckley said that our symbol is our actions. We as members of the Church represent Christ and that is our symbol to the world. Be a symbol to the world. Be a symbol of the Church of Jesus Christ.
Heres a few pics!
District pday and a bowl of soup thats amazing members always give us haha"
