Hello! This is Mia, Porter's sister. Me and my mom will be updating this blog with letters and pictures from Porter as he takes on beautiful Peru along with the people he gets to teach there. We dropped him off yesterday and he was greeted by some long time friends, they saw us pull up and the called out his name before the truck even stopped. My mom said it best, "
I think this is what heaven will be like. Friends to greet you to take all of your fears away."
we also received a quick email from him:
"HELLO!!!! So they kind of sprung up on me that I can email you guys real quick so it has been an amazing day I honestly love it here so much. My companion is awesome his name is Elder Anstead he's from American Fork and we have gotten along very well. I have great roommates and I live on the same floor as Michael Skonnard! I love it and won't be able to reply but I love you!"
